LET’S PLAY UPSIDE DOWN!

INVERSION IMMERSION
w Renata Gregory!!!

Sunday, May 20th   1pm-4pm

Everybody upside down! We’re turning the yoga studio into a yoga playground,
exploring the different approaches to handstand (adho mukha vrkshasana),
forearmstand (pincha mayurasana) and headstand (sirsasana). We will
demystify these “advanced” postures, finding different entry points and
experiencing the many variations that can make them more accessible.
You will come to recognize, that the foundation for these postures is
already in your yoga practice and you’ve been preparing for them all along.

The Art of Letting Go; An Escape from the Everyday w Maura Manzo

The Art of Letting Go…a craft worth honing.

Join Maura Manzo to practice surrendering into vinaysa flow and diving deep within through YIN.

At some point in our practice we feel it. That moment at the end of a challenging class when you lie into savasana and feel the ahh, a peace that overtakes us as we let go into deep relaxation. What if you could experience that moment more often and even outside of yoga class? What if you felt that way more often than not? According to the Yoga Sutras, our natural state is that of freedom, of peace and relaxation. Our natural state holds none of the tension or stress we feel every day. Why don’t we live from this truth more often? Simply because we forget we are already free and instead live from the mind’s limited view of reality. Our yoga practice helps us remember by bringing us into the body and heart and out of the mind.

“There is no need to struggle to be free. The absence of struggle is in itself freedom.” -Chogyam Trungpa.
